Do you collect and drop off guests?
We will collect and drop you off at your accommodation anywhere in the greater Durban area. If you are outside the Durban area there may be a small charge, but we’ll always let you know in advance.
Can we alter the tour itineraries?
Absolutely! We are happy to alter an itinerary or even plan a new itinerary from scratch. Just let us know where your interests lie and we’ll work on a tour itinerary for you.
What is the accommodation like on the tours?
For the most part we use a min of 3-star accommodation but we are quite happy to look at other options if you’d like.

We use Toyota Quantum, Mercedes Vito and Ford Tourneo. All the vehicles we use are licenced with the relevant authorities and are inspected and serviced regularly. Our vehicles are also equipped with air-conditioning and are extremely comfortable.
How do we pay for tours?
We usually ask for a 50% deposit on booking a day tour, overnight or multi-day tour and will send an invoice out with our banking details on. If you prefer we’re happy to accept payments via PayPal. The balance can be paid on the morning of the tour in either cash or using credit card.
Do you take credit cards?
We do take credit cards and utilise a mobile payment system called “Payment Pebble”. The system utilizes a smart phone. For more information on this system, please visit the following link (opens in a new window). If you are wanting to pay with a credit card, please let us know beforehand as the system is new and may be temporarily off line.

We accept cash payments both in Rands and in foreign currency. The rate of exchange is calculated on the day of the tour.

Our tours include meals as well as entry into the relevant attractions, whether it’s just a day tour or a overnight or multi-day tour. So for the most part, there are no extra costs. We do not include tips and items of a personal nature though, that would be for your account. Naturally if there are any extras, we’ll let you know before you book the tour.

We plan all tours with the safety and comfort of our guests our biggest priority. It’s because of this that we reserve the right to change the itinerary of any tour if we feel your safety is in any way jeopardized.

As registered tour guides and tour operators, we carry comprehensive insurance, but we strongly advise that you obtain travel insurance, it’ll give you peace of mind.
Can we smoke on the tours?
There is no smoking in any of our vehicles, but we are really accommodating so we’ll happily stop every now and again for a smoke break provided the rest of the group is amicable to this. Usually there is no smoking in the rooms, but of course there is usually a smokers corners. If you not sure, just ask your guide.
