The last few week have been really busy, and because of that, I’ve had no opportunity to write any new posts. It’s a pity because the last few Durban Day Tours have been fantastic, with tours to Sani Pass, to the Valley of the 1000 Hills and of course the ever popular Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve, have just been so much fun that I feel bad that I haven’t captured it all.
Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve
Sightings at the Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve have been brilliant over the last few weeks; elephant, lion, rhino, hyena, crocodile, hippo, various antelope… the list seems almost endless.
World Transplant Games
There has been many memorable moments over the last few weeks, I just wished I could have taken notes at the time! One of the highlights for me has been meeting a small group of the Team Britain & Northern Ireland Transplant Games participants; what amazing stories and such a positive and healthy attitude to life! And consider that many of these participants have had major transplants, like lungs (I was told of one gent who had a double lung transplant!) and here they are participating in a major sporting event! Just so inspiring.
Durban Day Tours
Everyone I have spoken to over the last few weeks, whether from Italy, the UK, France, Canada, the good ol’ US of A; everyone to a man (or woman) has been so positive about Durban! The weather is great they say, the people friendly, the city safe and clean… it’s definitely becoming a destination that may people across the world are taking more of an interest in.
So if you are visiting our shores, whether as a sporting participant, a business visitor, or enjoying a cruise on one of those beautiful floating resorts (I’m so jealous), drop us a line today and we’ll show you why Durban is becoming one of South Africa’s top destinations.
I’m pretty proud of my city.
