Over the last 4 years, Country and Coastal Touring have slowly grown from strength to strength. It hasn’t been easy, but we’ve enjoyed the challenge immensely. As we continue into the future, we realised we needed a new website. Something that reflected our professionalism as a company, our drive for the future, and of course our love for what we do, and the places that we visit.

 Country and Coastal Touring

Country and Coastal Touring was started because we believed that KwaZulu-Natal was one of the finest places one could hope to live in. We have the Drakensberg mountain range and Isimangaliso, both of which are UNESCO World Heritage sites.

We also have some of the best game reserves in the country, the Hluhluwe Imoflozi Game Reserve, mKhuzi, Tala Game Reserve, Amakhosi, Thanda, Bushlands, Didima and so many more.

We have the battlefields, those of the Anglo/Boer War and the Anglo/Zulu War, with many fascinating stories to go with. Some of the events in KwaZulu-Natal reverberated around the world, changing not only military tactics, but also foreign relations.

And we have the towns and cities of KwaZulu-Natal that are just filled with some of the warmest and friendliest people you could every hope to meet! From the small towns of Eshowe, Ngoma, Ulundi, Hillcrest, Isithumba, to the larger cities of Pietermaritzberg, Durban and Richards Bay; the people of KwaZulu-Natal are simply wonderful.

Presenting the “New & Improved” Website

So after much discussions around camp fires, over breakfast tables, while driving to and from tours, we finally decided on a new template, and here it is! We hope that everyone finds it easy to navigate, and of course finds it helpful when visiting.

We have loads planned for the new website, including a new “what to do in Durban” page for those passing through, as well as an electronic “Visitors guide to Durban” that will be available for download.

We’re also overhauling a number of tours, and adding a few more; some of which will still be day tours. We’re also getting started on planning some 10 day and 14 days tours of South Africa, so keep an eye on this space!

We at Country and Coastal Touring have but one goal; to produce the best tours and best experiences you’ll have in South Africa.

We invite all to have a browse through our website and feel free to drop us a comment.

Sala Kahle!

(stay well)
