I collected my guests from their hotel at 6am and headed northwards uder some very threatening rain clouds. Although it wasn’t raining when we started off, just 30 minutes lated the heavens opened up and the rain thundered down! i was asked my my most recent clients what animals I considered a favorite in the Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve. Right away I though about Elephants, Lions, Wild Dog etc, but too be honest, I really don’t have any favorites. I find that whatever animal we see next, becomes my favorite, whether Impala, Rhino, Waterbuck; for me it doesn’t really matter, I guess it’s just the thought that we get to see the animals on our Hluhluwe Imfolozi Overnight Safari Tour.

The last few months have been non-stop with tours. It’s the season for cruise ships so I’ve been running a number of Durban Day Tours and of course Safari’s. It’s so much fun, and I do enjoy my time with clients. We here in Durban have such an interesting city, and too think we’re no further than 45min away from wildlife preserves in all directions must make us pretty unique.
